Team works! Young Expert Exchange for Sustainable Development

The SES has been a partner of AGYO since 2021 and is responsible for implementing the Team works! programme. With Team works!, SES brings young professionals from African countries to Germany for internships and – vice versa – enables young professionals from Germany to participate as guests in its Africa assignments. In both cases, experts accompany them.

The assignments last between two and a half and six weeks. The offer is free of charge for young professionals.

The African-German Youth Office (AGYO), including its programme lines Teams up! and Team works!, will conclude on 31 December 2027. Unfortunately, new applications for internships (for Team works!) can no longer be accepted. Internships in 2026 will proceed as scheduled. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to all implementing organisations, African partners, and experts whose commitment and engagement have been instrumental in the programme’s success.
